Sorry if i am posting this in the wrong spot, but I am going to magic kingdom tomorrow and I'm going to be using mobile ordering for the first time for food and I was wondering how does the paying process work? Do I need to add my card to the disney app to pay for the food? Or do I still pay normally when I pick up the food?

Thank you! Also if I'm managing all the plans for my party, can the rest of the people in my group mobile order off of their app even if their reservations aren't synced with mine?
Like basically in their app it doesn't even show that they have park tickets

If you use ApplePay or Android Pay on your phone you can use that for payment without having a card assigned in your MDE profile. I do it all the time with ApplePay

Sounds like they’ve got their own accounts but you also have them just listed under your account? You haven’t linked to them under MDE family and friends option?
I honestly have no idea what would happen if they then signed into their own account and tried to order. Only way to find out is to try it tomorrow. They can sign in as you though and order that way. But you’d need to give them your username and password.

Question related to this.... if you have a card set up in MDE, and are staying at a Disney resort, does the charge then go to your account? To be added to the one big charge at the end of your stay? Like it used to when you tapped your Magic Band to pay? Or does it get charged to your credit card separately?

Room charging is not available with mobile food ordering.

Yes, they're not linked to reservations in any way. I could order a hot dog from Casey's right now and I'm sitting in my office in Connecticut with no tickets on my account.
