I just purchased tix for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for Friday, Oct. 11. After completing the purchase I realized that Oct. 11 is the Friday of Columbus Day weekend. Do you think the park will be super packed? I have never attended this event & am really excited - I hope I didn't make a mistake! Also - I would love to hear your comments/tips about MNSSHP. Thank you!

Remember though that the Halloween Party is a seperate ticketed event which means that there is only a certain amount of people let in. So the Halloween party won't be very crowded.

I have been to Mickeys Not So Scarey Halloween Party and it is VERY crowded.

They always sell out of tickets

I'm not sure how many tickets are sold but it was busier during the Halloween Party than it was during the busiest part of the DAY at Magic Kingdom when I went last October.

I should add that my family STILL had a great time even though it was crowded and we will go again Next Year.

Stategies??

Thanks for all your posts! Do all the MNSSHP dates sell out? If that's the case then I guess it doesn't really matter which date we go. Should we expect long lines at the candy stations & for the rides? I was hoping that there would be so many other things going on that the lines would be at least manageable. We'll have young children with us so I think they will be interested in spending time with the characters - especially if they are in costume. Do any of you have any good tips or stategies? Thanks!

I'm not sure if ALL the MNSSHP'S sell out. I just know the night my family went they had a sign out that said ALL SOLD OUT.

They have it pretty well organized so the candy lines move pretty fast. There are ALOT of other things going on there also. Stage shows, sing alongs, a GREAT Parade, and lots of places where you and your family can get a FREE Picture taken there. It takes a couple of weeks to get your picture mailed to you but hey...it's free.
I don't have any good tips other than most people wore costumes so my wife and I felt pretty out of place without one. If you want to do the Haunted Mansion ride go early and get right on it. For obvious reasons it's the most popular ride that night and the lines get real long. Not many places to eat during the Party so you might concider eating a big meal before you go. We watched the parade in Frontierland. Lots of good places to sit but find a spot early..they go quickly. We chose our spot by where Country Bear Jamboree gets out. ( about 45 minutes before the parade started.) We had a comfortable wait.
HAVE FUN!!

crowded?!?!!?

not in my experience. I've gone every night of the event the past 2 years and they were never crowded.

no..... maybe you just go to the parks when its always empty, so when it fills up at 25% capacity for the event, in comparison it would be busy.. but compared to summer, it's EMPTY
