Anyone know what the costume guidelines are? I know your face can't be covered, but can you dress like WD characters? Just curious.

As you stated no full face masks, no overly gorey costumes, no weapons etc. Pretty much common sense stuff. The majority of people dress as Disney characters. I went as Captain Jack Sparrow (minus the flintlock and the cutlass) and there was no issue. I'll see if I can locate my email conformation from last year that has the official rules in it.

Here's one listing of the official policy I found.
  • Guests are encouraged to wear costumes to enhance the event feel.
  • Costumes should be child-friendly and not obtrusive or offensive.
  • Adult Guests may wear masks, but masks must not obstruct vision.
  • Guests that "look like" our Disney characters will be politely informed that they may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
Wearing a costume to the party is so much fun! I was dressed as the Mad Hatter last year, and when the parade came by the real Mad Hatter came running over and screamed "I love your hat!"

Thanks for the info... I feel like I want to go just so I can dress up, but DH views this as a reason not to go :lookaroun

Do you guys have pics of your Jack Sparrow and Mad Hatter costumes?! I'd love to see :D
