I could understand if the OP was talking about Halloween Horror Nights at Universal or HOS at Busch since they do change every year, but like you said the chances of there being any changes from previous years is highly unlikely.

i apologize for piggy backing but god help me i am a lazy poster.... But speaking of mnsshp, would purchasing a ticket and attending this free u from park hopper rules? So i am clear, if i did ak during the day would i be able to attend mnsshp, if i purchased the passes, without a park hopper?

Yes, but you could not get in the park until after the designated time. With the purchase of the ticket for the event it includes admission AFTER a designated time.

You do not need a park hopper to attend MNSSHP if you want to use a regular ticket somewhere else that day. The MNSSHP is a separate hard ticket event and so you would be able to enter the Magic Kingdom when your hard ticket for MNSSHP would allow I believe it is around 3 or 4pm that day.

What I was talking about is there are usually rumors about which characters will be out since the bring out special characters for the event. I know last year there were several rumor threads on this site and others about speculated appearances. My biggest hope is that Lotso will be out again this year. Last year my 5 year old was devastated she didn't get to meet him. When we got to his line at around 11pm they had closed the line and there were only maybe 6-10 people in his line at the time. I begged the CM with my crying daughter to let us sneek in and she wouldn't let us. Cold hearted, I understand why but still cold hearted.

This is why CMs have bad days. You just called someone cold hearted even though letting someone in line past the cut off could loose them their jobs. The CM wasn't being cold hearted she was just doing her job and making sure the characters were not held over so as to not break and union rules and such.

Yes Goofy, Donald, and Mickey all have their Kingdom Hearts counter part and if I'm not mistaken Sora exists as well. The only problem is they have been seen since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released which was years ago now.

Like I said, I understand why, I just don't think I have it in me to turn away a crying kid. The party didn't end until 12 and it was only around 11. I wouldn't think it would take 6-10 people an hour to meet and take a pic. Again I understand why she did it. It is just hard being a dad in that situation when you know that it is your only chance to meet him. It took us a while to find him, because apparently everytime we were around the hub looking he must have been on a break. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he will be back this year.

I'm hoping to take a long weekend this fall - never attended the Halloween party. If DD23 saw Kingdom Hearts characters in the parks, she would literaly fall at their feet!

Yup - 23 years old and my little nerd! Loves video games, anime and cosplaying - her very first cosplay was Roxus! I had to pick up her copy of KKH3D for her last week as she is finishing up her Masters in Scotland. Oh, and did I mention, she's beautiful?
