With the release of the October hours I can now start really planning my trip. We are going to be there the week of Halloween and I wanted to get some feed back on what party crowds are like. I know the party on the 30th & 31st will be packed. What about the Sunday party on the 28th? Are the Sunday crowds bad? We are definitly going to this one so I just wanted to get a feel for what to expect.

Also, isn't there normaly a party on November 1st? Is this party crowded?

The 30th, 31st and November 1st are the parties that tend to sell out most.

I think the crowd question really depends on what you are looking to do. Keep in mind, you cannot do everything at the party, there is just so much going on. We went last year on Sunday 10/23. The only time where crowd was an issue for us was durring the Villain Mix and Mingles. It was absolutely insane with no organization. We watched the show twice and only got to see3 Villains (Dr. F, Hook and the Snow Queen). We were on line for the 7 Dwarves at 5:45 and were the 6th or 8th group on line. By the time the party started the line stretched from where you exit Splash Mountain (the 7D's met where Woody and Jessie meet durring the day) all the way to the entrance of BTMRR (well over an hour wait, so if they are a must get there early). Lines for most other characters were small to non-existant, the couple of rides we did had no waits (we only rode HM, BTMRR and AO). We had good spots for both Boo-To-You Parades and HalloWishes. Everything we wanted to see and do was relatively easy, except the Vallain M&M.

Nothing is official yet, but if you check the park hours, you can get a pretty good idea by the days that MK closes at 7. It looks like 9/30 will be the first party held on a Sunday this year.

I was wondering what days they would have MNSSHP during our Sept stay and searched through the forums. Then it clicked.

The days MK closes at 7 will most likely be the days this party happens.

Fri Sept 28 is when I'll be there to enjoy this party for the first time ever. Very excited.
