MNSSHP Dining Question

Sorry if this is in the wrong location..

They start letting people into the party at 4:00pm.
If I have dining reservations at Be Our Guest at 4:00pm, do you think they will let my party through the gate, say at 3:45pm, so we can make it to our reservation on time? I know it's not a big deal to be 10 minutes late, but is that possible?

Thats a really good question.

My initial feeling is you won't get in until 4pm. I believe the turnstile will reject the party ticket until 4pm. That being said, they are always keen to accommodate dining reservations, so may be willing to manually override it.

I think ultimately it will come down to who is at the turnstile, and if they feel like making the effort to let you in ahead of the time. If I were you I would prepare for it to be no-go until 4pm, but try at 3:45 and see what happens.

I'd be interested to hear how it goes when you get back.

Have a great time.

This was my thought as well. The ticket validation system is pretty automated now. It either glows green and lets you in or glows red and does not.

They might have a bit of fudge room built into that 4:00 PM time so it is at least worth a try.

Technically the party doesn't start until until 6, so aren't they already giving you two hours of fudge room at 4? You can try it but here's what you have to be careful of... say you have a park hopper ticket and a Halloween party ticket on the same Magic Band. It may "work" at 345, but the computer may actually be hitting a day of your park hopper, not the Halloween ticket, and then you'd have a problem on the last day of your trip.

I know the reverse situation - you only have a day ticket and make a 7pm reservation is no dice. They bounce you out.

Going off my experience from last year...

They had guests using party tickets line up at the turnstiles to the right, and guests using day tickets enter towards the left. They started letting the party ticket line in a little earlier than 4. I don't remember the exact time, but I know pre-MM+ they would start at 3:45. I don't think it was that early last year, but I want to say it was 5-10 minutes. Who knows what they'll do this year.

I can tell you that we used an FP+ for Seven Dwarfs, were off by 4:15, and we were seated at Liberty Tree by 4:33 (I can tell from time stamps on pictures ;)).

You'll probably be fine, but I would see about getting a slightly later reservation too, just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, they start letting party folks in at roughly 3:45pm and have over the last few years. Pretty soon it'll be pushed back to noon.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Even if u get in at 4 should be there by 4:10 they will still accept u
^^^ yeah this. We have been late to many dining reservations on every trip due to many reasons, and even as late as 30 min or 45 min (don't advise that lol) without any issues. They will definately not give you a problem for 10-15 min if you can't get in until 4pm. Lol
