Headed for our 1st MNSSHP on 10/31 and was curious about in park dining. We are having a late lunch @ TREX and headed for the MK for 4pm. I'm sure the adults will be hungry later in the evening, soooo....; Are QS locations open? Do the TS restaurants do anything special? Special snacks for the party (besides trick or treat)? Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!!

I am not sure what will be open, but when the official map comes out, they will list it on it.
however, the first time we went, I made a serious mistake.
I assume plenty of places would be open.......wrong
the few that were, were mobbed.
we starved the whole time, and then my beloved daughter kept assuring me roaring forks was open till 1 AM.
so we didn't stop
wrong again, we ate dinner out of the vending machines at 1 AM

so..........now we book plaza at about 5 pm and come right out, change into costumes in the restrooms there and are right on main street to start the party
I highly suggest getting something in the park before it closes at 7 pm.

Disney advertises Tony's Town Square and Liberty Tree Tavern, but I don't think they do anything special. Places like Sleepy Hollow serve specialty desserts, but if you want a meal (TS or CS) you should get it before 7pm like @docdebbi suggests.

EDIT: Just booked The Plaza for the night of the party. Good idea!
