MNSSHP, Costumes & Resort Restaurants

This question depends upon what Disney's costume policy is regarding MNSSHP this year, but...

What is the rule for resort restaurants and costumes? I'm thinking of doing a late lunch (like 2:00pm) before heading to MK for 4:00pm when you can get in with a party ticket. I know from experience that there's no issue being in resort common areas or bus stops in costume going to the party, but I've never tried eating a meal all dressed up before hand. Would they allow that? I've heard of people doing so for dinner, but never lunch/brunch.

I only ask because I know from experience that it's easier to change in your hotel room vs after you get into the park.

You won't have any issues in costume on a MNSSHP day anywhere on property - except Victoria and Alberts.

Steve, am I still correct in thinking that the new costume policy for anyone over the age of 14 will still apply to those attending MNSSHP? I sure hope not, because that was part of the fun...

Yet to be confirmed, but I would assume so. I can't see how they can suddenly make an exception for so many days of the year.
