Mnsshp 9/22

Sorry if someone else has reported on this night, but here's my take. My first time at this event, and I will definitely plan to do it again. It's a totally different experience than MVMCP, and IMHO, there is no reason to compare the two against each other. The Headless Horseman's ride down the parade route was the highlight for me. It is so built up with an intro spiel, and then he trots past to "Ride of the Valkyries." The Boo to You parade is also very well done. Getting to see Horace Horsecollar, Clarabell Cow, and Clara Cluck was relly great. It amazed me at the prade floats and characters that you just don't see that often. The entire MK was a different place. Fog emerging from the planters surrounding the partners statue, HM bells ringing throughout the park. I guess I really don't know if I was just overwhelmed by a new experience, but it is definitely something to plan a trip around. Sorry, I don't have any new pics that haven't been posted before.

I agree with you completely. We saw it on opening night, 9/15, and even with the rain, loved every minute. We made the same comment that it was a very different and enjoyable MK. I thought it was one of the best fire works displays, and they did an awesome job with the parade. Very cool. I highly recommend MNSSHP to any. Not sure what it will be like as you get closer to Halloween -- I was very glad they offered it early this year. It was a nice surprise to our annual September trip to WDW.

The parade sounds cool. I missed it last year. On the night we went to mnsshp it rained so they had as I like to call it the rain delay parade. All the characters came out in their slickers. It was needless to say a big let down, but with the rain coming down it was safety first which is the right thing to do. But come on it rains on the night I go :brick:.

I also got to enjoy it for the first time on 9/15. WOW!!!!!! My husband and I had a great time. We didn't really know what to expect, it's sometimes hard to tell from folks comments.

We hope they do it again early so we can take advantage of it.
