MNSSHP - 4:00 pm Entry

I just wanted to make sure they are still doing this? I just received our tickets yesterday and in 3 different places it says 7:00 pm entry. We didn't plan on park tickets this day because we figured we could get in at 4 as we have in years past. Anybody hear of any changes to this?

Yes, you can enter at 4, but the party doesn't start until 7. I actually confirmed it yesterday when I had to call Disney for another matter.

Thank you. This is the first year we are going without regular park tickets for the day. The other times we have gone we came back after an afternoon break dressed in costume and just grabbed the wrist bands later. I don't think I have ever paid attention to what time was on the paperwork before.

I am in the same boat, which is why I bothered to ask while I had someone on the phone last night. We have 5 day park hopper tickets, but don't want to use a park day just for the party. They said since it's a hard ticket(meaning you paid separately for it), it won't count towards our 5 days, but, we can still make FP+ reservation for between 4 and 7.

When you linked your tickets to get the FP+ did you have to do it by ticket number or by order number? I ordered the tickets for both our party and the party we are going with. The cast member on the phone said to do it by order number that would be fine for my party but our friends might be a little bummed out if they can't also get fast passes.

Sorry to add onto this thread but getting bit worried.. We are going to our first party on 23rd October and plan on dressing up. From the pictures I've seen so far this year, not many people dress up. Should we chicken out?

It was my understanding that most people do dress up. But even still, I say do what feels right to you. If you and the rest of your party want to dress up, have at it! It is a Halloween party, after all.

Was there for the party on Oct 1st. I got there at about 3:30. The were not letting anybody in who only had MNSSHP tickets. The line outside the gate was impressive. I entered using my AP and then got my wristband later on.

Did MNSSHP for the first time on Oct 9. Went from deciding to go, to going in themed shirts, to full costumes. Got there at about 3:30, used AP to get in and picked up our MNSSHP bands at one of the many stations later on. Four adults, had an absolute blast ! I'd say about 75% of attendees had some sort of costume. After about 8 pm, everything was a walk on. The parade, castle light show and fireworks were incredible. Ate more candy in one night than I have in the past year. The first time any of us looked at a clock it was after midnight ! The only downside was that it was a hot and muggy night and our costumes gradually were stripped off (Splash Mountain also helped and actually got wetter on Pirates !) We will definitely do it again !
