Best guess for first date for mickey's not so scary halloween party?

I'm trying to decide if it would probably be august 9th or the 16th? I know either way it's a bet right now.

We are trying to get one quick trip in befote school. School is starting earlier on the 14th though. So If there is a good chance that the first party would be the 9th, maybe I should move our trip up one week.

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong board. Please move if in the wrong board. I had a hard time figuring out which one this would go in.

Due to unprecedented demand, July 4th festivities have been replaced by a MNSSHP.

Historically, it seems like they've recently started the parties on the second Friday in August. That would make it August 9 this year.

Historically, it seems like they've always started the parties on the second Friday in August. That would make it August 9 this year.

That certainly would make it easier for me to make it without my kids missing school. I do understand the silliness of its starting so early, But school's down here starts so early, it's our only chance to try to go without pulling them out.
