Anxiously awaiting to see if MNSSHP will be a go this year. Wonder when they will announce it?

I had a trip planned 2020 during October and cancelled because of no MNSSHP and Covid so ..... booked another one for 2021 the week of Halloween and hoping, hoping they will have MNSSHP in some form or fashion.

Anyone know of any news?

They’re typically selling tickets by now aren’t they? Bummer if they’re not but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.😕

If they haven’t announced by now you’d think it’s a no-go. I could see them building on what they had last year though.
FOF returning still doesn’t even seem on the horizon.

We’re also hoping it’s a go for our October trip. But I’m not expecting any news until June/July. Seems easier for Disney to say “look at this awesome party we’re offering!” last minute, than to say “we might be having parties but we don’t have details.”

I've prepared myself for no parties during my trips this year.
I do think its POSSIBLE but not super likely and if they do happen I think the amount of parties will be quite limited.
I think Disney is taking their time to decide based on when they anticipate restrictions will loosen so really we could be waiting until July or August to hear an official go/no go.

It's not a make or break for this years trip, we are going either way but hoping they will have it.

Some insiders have predicted that they will have it this year as Universal has already announced their plans for their Halloween Party. Tickets are usually on sale now so checking each and every day hoping for good news. But, it really depends on Disney's prices and what they have to offer whether or not we will buy any.

No one is mentioning parties yet. Way too soon. Possible??? There could be a very miniscule chance if lots of other large scale events start occurring nation wide without negative results and Disney decides to follow suit. I'd be more inclined to think not this year though.

How about one this year 2022??? They are supposed to be having one but when will we be available to buy tickets?

Universal did HHN last year, not only that it was an anniversary year (spent more to make it special) and they expanded it (gave it a F&W booth component.)

Honestly, as an adult with no kids, after experiencing the Christmas Party last year, I’m hoping for that provided they keep the cap on admissions the same. Sucks for families though, starting the party at 9 and going to 1 am isn’t really viable for them.

It’s usually June they announce dates like they did for Boo Bash last year and I expect the same this year with tickets going on sale a week or two later.

No it's not. they announced in June last year because they were still trying to finalize everything. They typically announce in very early May. Not sure when they'll announce this year since they are supposed (rumored) to be bringing back stuff like stage shows, fireworks, and parades.

I'm expecting another "Halfway to Halloween" blog post in early May where they announce this party, Oggie Boggie Bash in California, Shop Disney merch and drop the trailer for Houcs Pocus 2.

It USED to be announced in May.
But then it started being in April, then March, then February, THEN JANUARY. (edit sorry scratch January)
Then Covid happened....
My guess is that Disney was thrilled to take back control and stop feeling the need to announce it just a couple months after it ended.
I think they will announce in May.

When did Disney ever announce it in January? If you're talking about another specific site with a Disney forum I hate to tell you but they just made dates up. They always did. And when they got called out on it they would ban you from the forum. All the while calling you a lunatic for questioning them. Funny enough, every single year the dates they posted would always change after Disney released their dates in May. They did it every year and they still do it now. I haven't looked at their site yet this year but I can almost guarantee you they're already posting dates.

Sorry my memories got a bit confused.
I realize it was announced in February 2020 and I had been confusing that with the fact that they announced free dining in January 2020 when that too used to be May then April then March then February lol.

And no I wasn't getting that info from other forums. Just got it confused in my head.

I wasn't attacking you. I was genuinely asking when they started announcing it in January because I assumed that they had and I just missed it.
