9/4/03
The National Basketball Association's Orlando Magic will conduct their 2003 training camp at The Milk House at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex starting on Sept. 30. "We look forward to welcoming Coach Doc Rivers and the entire Orlando Magic family to the Walt Disney World Resort and providing them with a world-class training experience that will prepare them for the upcoming NBA season," said Reggie Williams, Vice President of Disney Sports & Recreation. "Hosting professional training camp events at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex for the Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and this fall, the Orlando Magic, provides an inspiration for the thousands of amateur and youth-sport athletes who also train and compete at our facilities throughout the year."
The Magic previously held their training camp at the complex for the 1997-98 season.
"Our entire organization is thrilled to return to Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex to prepare for the 2003-04 season," said Orlando Magic General Manager John Gabriel. "With their first-class facilities and staff, Disney will provide us with a tremendous start in reaching all of our goals.

Construction will occur on exit ramp to Buena Vista Drive
Eyes and Ears/Planning and Development Cast
9/5/03
On Sept. 8 and 9, construction activity will occur on the first off-ramp from inbound Epcot Center Drive leading to the intersection at Buena Vista Drive and Bonnet Creek Parkway. (This is the first exit off Epcot Center Drive after drivers pass through the Walt Disney World entrance gateway onto property.) Construction is scheduled to take place between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day, so Cast and Guests should expect lane closures and brief traffic delays during this time.
Workers will create a new turn lane from this off-ramp allowing traffic to turn left onto Buena Vista Drive.
For your safety and the safety of the workers, drive carefully when traveling this stretch of roadway and allow for additional travel time.

Studios Kennel Walkway Closure
Action!
9/5/03
Effective Tuesday September 9th, the Kennel walkway which leads from the Television parking lot to the kennel entrance door will be closed for construction to all cast and guests. Security will be constructing a permanent security checkpoint in front of the kennel.
For guest and cast safety, there should be NO pedestrian traffic in the tram lane to get to the main entrance of the park.
All guests who wish to check their animal into the Studio kennel will have to do so by going through the Main Entrance Security checkpoint, and walking past the Guest Relations Window, to enter the kennel.
There will be a construction wall backstage behind the Kennel which will allow guests to walk their animals during this construction phase.
This construction will be going on for several weeks.
