Hi,

Does anyone know what are the transportation options from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian? Is it possible to walk? And what is the quickest way? Any answer would be really helpful.

Monorail or boat.

I'm not 100% sure, but I do not think you can walk.

The monorail makes stops at the grand floridian as well as the polonisian and contempoary. There is also a boat from the MK, but it maybe for resort guests only.

I don't think you can walk to it as there is a canal for the water pagent boats and the liberty belle when it has to go into dry dock, and there is no brige over it.

Monorail will be the quickest as Magic Kingdom is the next stop.

You can take a boat from the GF if you want a bit of a scenic route, but the boats will stop for the Water Pageant at night.

There is no direct way to walk from the GF to Magic Kingdom.

We usually take the resort launch (boat) from the MK to the GF. The launch route goes: MK, GF, Poly, MK. From the GF to the MK the monorail is the quickest. The monorail route goes: MK, Contemporary, TTC, Poly, GF, MK.

Wasn't there talk of building a bridge over that canal? I presume the cost of building the bridge couldn't be offset by the additional Walk Around the World bricks they would have sold.
