MK to Epcot in time for Illuminations?

If I left MK right after Spectromagic (7:00pm start time), would I be able to make it to EPcot for Illuminations? I'm assuming Spectro is 15 minutes and I would leave from the front of MK-then Monorail to Epcot-enter gate-walk to World Showcase....doable?

I would say definatly. Most people stick around for the fireworks so crowded transportation should not be a problem. I would just hop on the monorail like you said. Make sure that you have no bags to go through security. That will help speed things up. One night around 8, at EPCOT I got stuck waiting about 20 minutes in a bag check line why the rest of my family walked right in.
