This may be already being discussed, but... I've noticed for a while that towards park closing and especially during EMH, theres little to none snack carts open during those hours, and its hard to find a snack or any food. Is there a reason for that?

Most likely they have statistical info that supports that they are either not profitable to run or a good use of labor time. They may also have data that shows that not having the snack carts available later pushes people to CS where they will spend more.

Agree and usually always some CS/QS locations are still open like Casey's and Cosmic Ray's until closing (CR's usually closes at park close)or later like Casey's I see open 30min -1hr after closing most nights we were there As recent as in October.

Interestingly, when we were there in January, I took specific notice that more carts WERE open later than I was used to. Heck, I grabbed a popcorn on Main Street after the park had technically closed (MSEP ran at park closing, then we left).

And as we walked through Frontierland at night, all/several of those carts were open, even during EMH. Usually I'm frustrated because I can never get a popcorn or other snack there after dark.

That's great to hear Tom. We won't be back until 12/2017 (first year we have skipped in a while and of course it's DVC's 25th year lol) probably and I'll be on the lookout being we always close the parks.

Thats how I felt, I didn't notice that while I was there this past weekend.

Theres no hot cheese so they close early.
