MK Parades

Heres a question which puzzles me. MK usually has two parades a day (3pm and Spectromagic). Do they always run in the same direction or are they alternated ?
For example, last year during my visit in April, we watched the afternoon parade twice, each time it finished at the main entrance. While the Spectromagic parade ran in the other direction.
During a previous visit I remember the afternoon parade starting from the main entrance.
WHY ??
Just curious so as to plan the best vantage point - where do you recommend watching them from ?

I think the go the opposite way that they ended the parade before.

I remember the Spectromagic ending at the main gates as well.

The 3pm Parade starts in Frontierland and ends on Main Street.

The Night parade starts on Main Street and ends in Frontierland

The both follow the same route, but backwards

Well I definately saw the night time parade go TOWARDS the exit, in fact I think I even have it on video.

Ratcat, me too. On Mem. Day Weekend, it went from Fronteirland to the main exit of the MK (Main Street). Oh well... :animwink:

You must have seen it during a special event/weekend, or on a day they had a press filming/photo shoot. On those days, they want the parade with the castle in the background, so they run it backwards. The normal parade route for a night parade is starting on Main Street and ending in Frontierland

Ratcat, and TinkerBel9988 you guys saw Spectromagic coming from Frontierland, because I did to, but you guys saw it before they brought Main Street Eletrical parade, but now they brought back Spectromagic, and now it comes form Main Street U.S.A. And yes the day parade comes from Fronteirland.
