Just show up on the morning and be near the front of the line before going through the turnstiles. They just pick a family at random. By the way, if one of your family wanders away in search of a soda, and they pick your family, you are out of luck, they'll just pick another family right away.

That story gave me goosebumps. My wife, B-I-L and I got to ride down Main Street in the Fire Truck one morning after opening back in '08 during the year of a million wishes and although it wasn't a wish, it was absolutely incredible riding down Main Street and people waving at us like we were special. Absolutely magical!!!

From what I have read, some good ideas are to show up early, stand by the turnstiles, and make sure to have a good time! I love reading stories from people who were chosen. Most say they were very friendly with the CM's and were chatting with them. They said their family was laughing and having fun together. And cute matching t-shirts can't hurt. ;)

Be there EARLY! Keep the family together! Be nice and friendly. And remember that lots of people show up early to try to be the Chosen Ones (;)), so don't be too disappointed if you aren't selected. :)
