First off, the Magic Kingdom is "FULL"

Nice! Haha. I love the Ghosts on the refurb wall. It adds a nice, er, touch to the area... I guess.

:D I'm glad I stayed away from the MK yesterday.

How were the fireworks?

Sorry If I missed something...but are those hitchiking ghosts only visible after you take a flash photo on the actual picture, or are they in plain view?

EPCOT becomes the MK overflow parking. Thus, the checks at monorail ramp.

If you can manage to sneak your way to the TTC, then you would have made it in because if you could physically get to MK, you were in. Guests were asking me if they could get in MK because earlier they were stopped at Epcot. I said "yah," simply because I heard nothing on the radio otherwise. They never came back complaining, so that must have been the case.

Or, you have an AP :D

AP and KTTW gets you past the EPCOT monorail ramp goons. Maybe an SP as well. They're not scanning them in (hint...hint)

BTW, MK wasn't that full on the 4th. It was a smaller crowd than in previous years. Personally, I would have stayed at the resort and relaxed for the day in any case.

The ghosts are GREAT! I can't wait to see them when I go down in August!!!!

I have never seen a sign saying MK was full EVER! That is amazing!

I disliked crowds when I was a tourist and even more now being a local. I honestly don't understand the allure of going to a theme park when it's at capacity IN Florida heat on a holiday. Boggles the mind.

The only time I was at a park that was even close to capacity was MK on 07/04/98, the year will all the fires going on. I was a tourist and they cancelled the fireworks due to the dry weather. I remember asking a cast member if they would close the park today. He stated that the fires kept alot of people away that day. But low and behold every ride was well over 1 hour wait. I've never seen a park so congested on Main Street in my life. I couldn't imagine them fitting anymore people inside. Hope I never see anything like that again.

Although I am commited to Epcot in the middle of August due to family coming down this year. epcot at least holds the crowds better, but I'm still expecting a near riot condition. :lol: :lol: :lol:

No one here knows exactly. At least no one who will tell you knows. Very few know it as estimate. Even people who have an estimate probably won't tell you, since you can still get fired for it. And anyone who does give you an estimate, I don't guarantee you it's accurate.

Oh yeah, and it changes daily.

Great ghost pics...and great sign pics, too. I couldn't imagine being in ANY park when it was maxed out to capacity. I'm claustrophobic, so I'd go nuts. Does anyone know if the MK is only park to have ever been filled up (since it is the smallest-I think)? :confused:

Im sure all of you have speculated on MK capacity before and are prob a bit accurate this is what is posted on http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/trivia/mk/magickingdom.php

"The Magic Kingdom has the capacity for 100,000 guests, although Disney often will close the parking lots when 75,000 guests have entered the park, since the buses are still running"

Any truth to this???
