MK Firework cannons

I've often wondered this, since I always view the fireworks from mainstreet it appears the shells are being shot from Fantasyland. Does anyone know where or have pictures of the fireworks tubes or have any additional info on how the MK fireworks work? Thanks

There are 10 other in park sites, 5 on either side of the castle, that launch smaller shells, comets, mines, etc.

For 180 degree shows, 8 more launch sites are used outsde the perimeter of the park. I believe at least some of these site have become permanent or semi permanent, with large fencing around them since they were used on a nightly basis during the summer.

For the 360 degree shows, 8 sites are stilll used but moved farther apart. A 9th perim site is located on a barge in Seven Seas Lagoon on the Grand Floridian side. The "mirror" site is on one of the islands in the lagoon, seen below
