MK Fantasyland update 12.6.12

Stopped over at the MK this morning to see the dedication ceremony. Wanted to take some updated pics for you guys. These were taken just over an hour ago.

• Dumbo sign has been put back in place ( didn't notice any difference )
• The area near the exit of the Fantasyland train station is finally completed
• The grass up on mermaid near the circus entrance has also been completed
• Mine train construction continues
• The Rapunzel bathrooms continue to take shape ( lots of details now appearing )

There was press EVERYWHERE, Fantasyland was a mad house!!

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum for this question, but...I few months ago, I remember seeing a post with pictures of the new Dumbo ride vehicles. Apparently, some of the ride vehicles were already scraping against the loading area causing very visible scrapes and gashes on the new Dumbo's. Does anyone know if this was fixed and if the vehicles have been repaired?

With the amazing theming of the bathrooms, it makes you wonder if the fair look may be close to disappearing in the rest of FL. I doubt it would happen in the next year or two, but this new area certainly looks more like the beauty of DL's FL than the MK's.

Yes, this has been fixed.

I also noticed in the photo they are laying down the Tangled flower pattern into the ground and you can see they've put in a size able chunk of the walkway.

On Monday we ate at CHH and I peeked out of the same window you did. Did you notice the attempt to put a shade up in some of them? Anyhow, they were preparing to mix concrete and pump it into the walkway.

The lighting is more impressive with each add. It should be subtle and warm and not too garish. More genuine than technological. As the greater Fantasyland becomes more integrated thematically it will really pay off. WDW will have the best Fantasyland soon. At least until Shanghai opens.
