Okay so here is what I have for now. Does this look doable?

815 adr at CP (gonna plan to be out by 945)
pooh-standby hopefully @ 10 am
its a small world
Peter Pan (fp 950-1050)
little mermaid (fp1055-1155)
Pete's sideshow
dumbo
casey jr splash zone
train to main st
meet Mickey (fp 1210-110)
return to room for lunch and naps

Will I be pushing it to get things done between mermaid and meeting Mickey? There is a. 1240-140fp for Mickey if you think that will work better?? If have time will try and do petes and/or dumbo before mermaid. Thanks in advance.

I would say you are pushing it. I would try and squeeze Dumbo in between Peter Pan and Little Mermaid. If not earlier in the morning. Pete's sideshow line moves pretty slow and usually has at least a 20-30 min wait if I remember. the extra half hour until the next Mickey FP you mentioned should be enough time to help you out though.

I am not sure how old your kids are...I am assuming you have kids because of the naps, but that plan is pretty ambitious. When I walk through DisneyWorld, now without children (they are all grown), I see young parents frantically buzzing around trying to make it to the next ride/attraction....kids in tow....not really enjoying the experience. They are usually pushing strollers and bumping into people, or holding little ones by the hand and pulling them along. Slow down and enjoy! The kids won't remember any one specific ride, but they will remember the overall time in DisneyWorld so let them enjoy the time they spend there. If you have the chance, sit and watch the people in the park and observe who seems to be enjoying it more....the people taking their time or the people rushing to get to the next FP. This is not meant to be a lecture but rather the experience of a mom who has done what you plan to do. Relax and enjoy your trip and your kids trip through the parks and have a
Magical Trip! :cat:

I think it depends on crowd level during your visit -- when we visited in May (crowd level about 6 out of 10), only Dumbo/Pooh/Pan/Mermaid had lines over 10 minutes before 11:30am.

Ideally, you won't end up needing 90 minutes for breakfast. Getting out of there even 10 or 15 minutes earlier could make a big difference in your wait times. Your longest wait is definitely going to be Pooh, even if you get there first.

I would almost suggest swapping the Mermaid fp for Pooh. There's been a lot of discussion on here lately about Mermaid's wait being less. It's a high capacity omnimover so it probably won't have as much of a wait as Pooh will.

If you have the MDE app on your phone, you can look at live wait times at the time of day and day of the week you plan to be there. It won't be foolproof as a way of predicting your waits, but it should give you a good comparison to determine which rides will most likely need that fp.

Likely not possible, especially with you going to CP when the lines are shortest. That said, Disney kind of rushes you in and out of buffets. There is no way you will be there until 9:45. With an 8:15 reservation, you could easily by out by 9:15. In fact, Disney would encourage you to be out by then. If possible, flip some of your FPs. It would be better to go to Mermaid first thing after your breakfast (without FP+) and switch that FP+ to Pooh, which gets longer lines. You might get tripped up with Dumbo, too. I assume you are going soon, when it is warm and reasonable to go to the Splash Zone in the morning. That would likely mean a 40 minute wait for Dumbo by the time you get there. Do you have to have that Mickey FP+? He seldom has appreciable waits. For example, it is crowded this week and he seldom gets waits more than 20 minutes. I think that's a waste of a FP+. Dumbo would be more useful.

IMO and I'll be brutally honest.....there is virtually zero chance.

Planning the rides is one thing but most people don't account for the walking time to and from each attraction, the attraction time itself....and this is also if no one wants to look at anything at all. Not to mention having to stop for bathroom breaks (especially with kids) and to stop and get a drink.

Sorry to be a downer.....

Personally, I feel that it is a tad bit ambitious but not entirely impossible, though you will definitely experience the Disney magic fuller at a leisurely pace. :) I think what you can do is to get out of CP around 915 to 930, since an hour is usually enough time for all the characters to go around and for you to finish your meal. You can then go in dumbo and meet the characters at Pete's sideshow before going for pooh. Those two should be completed in 45 min or less considering it is still early in the morning. A little tip for you though, never ever rush through things at Disbey, change your plans and let go if you have to, I suggest discussing with your kids what they want to see the most so you can priorities them in case of time restrains :) Enjoy your trip!

Hello everyone, my family and I will be planning a first trip to WDW at the end of next year. Our party will consist of two adults, two 15 year olds and one 13 year old. Would you think the Villas at Grand Floridian will be a good choice?( Deluxe Studio) We intend to rent some DVC Points so it'll only cost around 238 dollars a night. Do you think it is worth it? Since we won't get daily housekeeping, will it be a lot of a hassle? Sorry for asking so much, but does anyone know the size of the pull down bed? Any feedback or suggestion will be greatly appreciated :) Thank you so much!

I'm confused...are you really a first-timer?

Using 15 minute wait times for standby and 30 minutes for Pete's, it's ridiculously tight and you probably won't make Pan FP (can swap with iasw) or meeting Mickey.

815 adr at CP
9:45 leave CP, walk to Pooh
9:55 pooh-standby wait 15 minutes
10:10 ride Pooh
10:15 walk to iasw
10:30 board iasw
10:45 leave iasw
Peter Pan (fp 950-1050)
leave PP 11:05
walk to little mermaid arrive 11:15
board mermaid 11:30
Pete's sideshow 11:30-12:00
Board dumbo 12:15
casey jr splash zone 12:30-12:45
train to main st board at 1, ride 15 minutes
meet Mickey (fp 1210-110) *probably won't make it*
return to room for lunch and naps

AHaha, yes, I've not been to Wdw before, but I've done tons and tons of research on it, watching videos of full walkthroughs of the parks, resort rooms and rides, reading reviews of almost all the restaurants, checking wait times online for fun etc. Wdw is actually an extremely fun topic to learn about. So many people actually thought that I have been to Wdw, I guess that is what happens when you spend more than a year researching on it daily, haha :P

I'm serious..... Of course you are going to plan and research a lot if you are flying around the world, spending more than 12K just on airfare( which will probably be enough for an American to have a luxurious trip) and the fact that you may only travel to the place once in your lifetime.....

I think that they have a chance of making it all happen- IF they do it all in the right order. Dumbo/Pete's/Casey- are you really going to spend a long time at Pete's/Casey? Do these first after CP then head over to PP for your FP. Can you get a FP for Dumbo- maybe drop the Mermaid one? That would help. I don't think you'll wait too long for IASW or Pooh. Do you have to ride the train at this time? If you are returning later/another day, save it. Go meet Mickey and leave. Any particular reason you have to have all this done by 1?
