How bad are we talking magic kingdom will be on 12/30 since they running the firework specials? How bad will the parks be this coming 3ish weeks? Will the annual passes of all but the highest tier help at all? Thanksgiving a few weeks ago wasn’t bad at all wait time wise, especially compared to before. Do we expect that to continue?

Well, I purposely avoid that time of year. It's VERY busy and crowded. I would guess that 12/30 is only slightly better than 12/31. Slightly but probably not by much. Good luck!

Do you think wait times will mimic any of the times during this last Thanksgiving week which was first really busy times post the controversial changes Disney made?

I'm not sure how to answer that question/statement. It will be very busy. In fact, Christmas/New Years is the busiest time of the year every year. You can be sure standby wait times will be very long. I don't know what "controversial changes" you're referring to.

I'll just reiterate, it's the busiest time of the year. DAS and LL (or FP+ previously), by definition, affect standby wait times to allow those with that access to ride before standby. Personally, I wouldn't go. I would just be miserable. But to each their own.
