Mission Space

I know Mission Space is scheduled to open in 2003. Do they have an expected date (as in months). I saw the construction in January and it seemed as if they had done a lot since my last visit, but then again I don't know how large the building is supposed to be? If anyone has an idea please let me know.

The common assumption is that most of the "work" being done right now is on the INSIDE and back of the building....who knows..I think they will finish on time

exact dates are kinda foggy territory when it comes to a project like this...best guess would be Spring Break 2003(a year from now)

isnt their a countdown clock on the site, i though i saw one, maybe that was in the park

There is a Mission: Space section in Innoventions and it had a countdown clock that was pointing towards sometime (presumably right around Easter) in the spring of 2003.

The countdown clock was taken down a few months ago. But I don't think anyone is sure why...

The Countdown Clock was removed, and I quote from an Epcot CM
"Because it wasn't all that accurate."

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come in regards to the ride....
