Hey everybody--this is a screamscape rumor, so obviously take it with a tremendous grain of salt, but it is at least a wee bit encouraging for summer guests:

2003 - Mission: Space - (5/5/03) A trusted Screamscape source tells us that Disney is planning to perform a little guest testing on the Mission: Space ride during the week of June 22nd to 28th. Nothing is guaranteed at this point, and start times will vary day to day, but if you are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, you just might be able to one of the first people to take a spin.

Remember--total rumor, just wanted to share. I would presume if this is the case, similar sneak previews would continue all summer, random in nature.

This is great news, but I would wait until they start having Cast Member previews to start thinking about previews for the public. I'm not trying to sound pesemistic but they usually do the Test and Adjust on the Cast Members first. Either way the sooner the ride opens the better.

I wouldn't call them very trustworthy...

Well I am going in Aug. so as long as I can ride it, then I am thrilled.

But Screamscape has been right many more times than some people on these boards give them credit for. I am not exactly saying this one is 100% true I am just saying that I wouldnt rule it out by any means.

For every time screamscape has been right, they're wrong 2 more times...

Like the tallest coaster in the world being at CP and giving it's exact height and speed months before an announcment and constrution began? Or how about the new coaster on the Stratosphere?

I'd take this with a grain of salt too, but Screamscape is as relyable as wdwmagic is.

Good point... however, you all know that I'm usually one of the first to say that something is fishy when it is...

Hey as long as they are wrong about the Alien Encounter changeover I will be happy

But no matter if they are right or wrong I still enjoy the site and every once and a while you do get some insider information.

I can.

I've read posts in the past claiming the main entrance guy at SEA WORLD gave them inside info.. the main problems being that

1-HE WORKS AT SEA WORLD!!! What validity does that give to a WDW statement?? NONE.

2-(this was a very unique situation).... I knew the guy personally, and knew how full of manure he was

basically... I don't trust anything I read, unless I can personally verify the info, or it's been verified by someone I know and trust...

or like in the case of Expedition Everest, when I see construction taking place

I don't want to argue about this..

my views have been known about this, AND MANY OTHER THINGS, for a while now.

You go believe what you want to believe, I'll believe what I choose to believe. It's that easy.

I'm getting too old to argue about such pointless bull**** anymore

it's not pointless to those of us who don't go to Disney every day....
