Mission: Space Slated Opening

I believe there is a soft opening late this year or early next year which means the area around the pavillion is open, but the attraction itself is not. The barricades are down, trees & flowers are planted, etc.

I wouldn't take any official Disney openings as the final word either. Basically, it will open when it opens... sometime around 2003. (Just look at what happened to test track  )

my feeling is that Test Track was delayed for a very long time (how long?), and they will not want to make the same mistake here, so they may of planned it better. (maybe just wishful thinking). Also, Test Track was placed in an old building - that is why there were so many problems :D

Yeah, I see what your saying. It was probably because of the new ride system... I just hope Mission: Space doesn't have similar problems

The delays in Test Track were becaus of htem having to restructure the old building to acomodate the ride at the last minute.

Boy was I angry when I went and expected it to be open but insted I got nothing!

Yeah, I'm expecting them to overestimate the opening date of m:s, but with disney you never know! I had the same problem with test track, back when i was young and un-informed, i went along, and it wasn't open. Damn!
