Mission:Space Music???!!!

Hi all!

Last year I was in Florida and rode Mission:Space. I absolutely loved it. And one of the things that stuck out to me was the music. I recently found this sight after visiting Disneyland Paris. http://www.soundofmagic.com Was looking for a piece of music and found it here. Has not been updated for a bit but is still really good.

So anyone know where I can hear the music from Mission:Space???

I HATE :fork: IRC.

Life would be much easier if everyone would just put multimedia in a newsgroup or on a system like WinMX...so much simpler than all that IRC crap.

I don't agree, it is a song of its time, not worst than other old Epcot cheesy or corny songs (which I like, by the way). Kinda reminds me of "We go on", and could be on par with Golden Dreams, Canada etc. It's no "Great big beautiful tomorrow", "Mexico song" or "Small world" but that was definately the old style. Not because the Sherman brothers didn't write it that it is bad. At least in my case, I used to sing it all the time, so it is not forgettable.

BTW, I'm definately looking too for cd quality music from the Planetary Plaza, second Pre-show, and on-board audio. :wave:

My girlfriend and I actually really like the Destiny song. We know all the words and yes, we do sing it while driving down the road. :lol: I just don't remember hearing it was we left M:S, probably because we were too busy talking about the ride and getting excited to go drink Mezzo Mix (and Beverly :slurp: )

"We go on" is a crowning achievement. It' s musically distinctive.

The misison: Space theme as you exit...just didn't stick with me. Like I said, it sounded so "generic." It was not necessarily bad, but it just sounded so formulaic. It was like Disney was just going through the motions.

This is why I consider it horrendous.;)

Anything from the Millennium Celebration was awsome, but Destiny sucks.

Anyone care to explain why the plaza music is a giant swooping score done by the London Orchestra, yet Destiny is done BY SYNTHS!?!?! ANYONE?

What I don't get is why, though I do like Destiny, they didn't put the Planetary music followed by the preshow music on the CD. Seems like most people would prefer to have that instead.
