I have a question. Dose anybody know about this? Once again i was talking to my mom you has a friend who is a CM at the land. She says that the plan on the inteior of mission:space should give you a feel of being at SE. At the top of SE your looking at the earth.inside the big planet{the red one} thier will be stars and she says the rumor is that once in the ride at the begging you will be in the exact place coming back from the planet you walk through. ONLY SOMETHING FROM A CM DOSN'T MEAN IT'S TRUE.

you shouldnt really depend on any cm's. most cm's get their dirt from word of mouth that they heard. since the land is at epcot, that would be logical. but the land is far away from space so hearing a rumor from the west side of the park, instead of the east side is not too frequent. no one really talks about new rides or how the new ride is gonna operate. there are minimal stuff that LEAK out but thats about it. you wont know for sure until MISSION:SPACE finally opens. who knows whats gonna be in there?? i wish i knew!!!

I am sure it doesn't matter where you work in the park to hear rumors spreading in different areas. Most CMs usually do work at just one attraction, but that doesn't mean they are completely in the dark about something, especially something this big, going on elsewhere. They probably have friends or aquantances that work in different areas, mabey even in different parks, and its still a rumor anyways, so everyone at Epcot may have heard it already. I mean, so have we now :)

I wouldn't be surprised if that was what the interior was going to look like though. That would be pretty cool!

I don't know about the interior..

Aside from the fact that the vehicles were made so they can be hosed out...

There was a Jim Hill article that covers what you are referring to. IIRC, it said that particular effect had been cut from the project. Jim was most recently found on dcacentral.com I believe - but they just closed shop. You can find archives of his articles at laughingplace.com and I think he maintains a column in Orlando Weekly - http://www.orlandoweekly.com/news/eyedrive/ Jim writes some great stuff. His sources seem to be pretty reliable, and if you haven't read his articles about Beastly Kingdom, or the series about the origins of DCA, you're really missing out on something! Good luck on finding the Mission Space article - he's written a lot of stuff! - epc0t

Jim Hill is notorious for being wrong and twisting the truth.

He has good info, but not all of it is 100% true. So take anything you read from him with a grain of salt :)
