Just finished looking at the Mission: Space photos.. To tell you the truth , its lookin ALOT better then it did when I was there in August of 2001.. If you look at the images you'll see what i mean...

What are those circular things on the floor?

I'm guessing planters for trees....lookslike they're doing the landscaping already. I wouldn't be surprised if the outside opens to the public by the end of the summer

I know what you're talking about. The weird thing is that if you look at Steve's website, the concept art doesn't show any flower beds or anything at all on the ground (i looked at a modified version from Oct. 9th, 2001 and also the official one that we have seen many times).

I was thinking at first that it was going to be a themeing thing- like a globe or something of that sort but that isn't on the concept art either.

Brief note- they will have the fiber optics around in the ground like at Innoventions (which is awesome, especially at night). The only bad thing is when I was at Innoventions at night in March some of them went out.

The fiber optics outside Innoventions are just great - really add to that special after-dark feel that EPCOT has - I'm looking forward to seeing more of them!
