Missed the details last time..

I guess the topic is this; when we went last november, we brought along some newbies who also had a 2 year old (like us at the time), but have never been to the world and were really excited. They insisted they had a blast, but between skipping attractions and all the responsibility to parenting I feel like they may not have gotten the true attention to detail the world expresses. Do any of you feel like this has happened to you?

Going as a parent is a dream come true, but my wife and i practically live there, so it was ok that we missed things like space mountain, indiana jones and so on. But for people going for the first time I almost feel like the true experience was never felt.

as of now both couples are pregnant with baby number 2, so we decided the next trip will be november 2016, as the babies will be 6,4,6 and 4. Maybe then, being able to slow down and really appreciate the park can happen.

Relax, and believe they had a good time!
I went to WDW (7 nights @ POR) with my 18mth old, being with a toddler with rider swap and all the kiddie options is a fabulous trip and missing things on the first trip doesnt hurt because you don't know what you are missing.
I went again the next year on an adult only trip while I was 8mths pregnant (in December great temps) missed some of the rides I was able to go on the previouse time but I saw parts of the parks I had never thought of going to the last time.
Disney is created for everyone to have fun, and there are so many great options!
(going again with a 6year old, 4 year old and 2 year old end of Sept - 4th time in 5 years!)

I can remember when we came when I was very pregnant and couldnt ride much as well as with a 4 yr old and newborn. I missed riding most everything due to the baby, I sat on the sidelines and watched. While I felt like I was missing out, I still loved being there and smelling the smells, watching the happiness around me and boy did I enjoy the food!
