I'm going over to Lake Placid for the Premiere next Thursday. Some of the original players are supposed to be there.

Looks like another pretty good entry. I wonder how many people on the WDWMagic list would have no idea that this was based on the true Olympic story of the 1980 men's hockey team without having been told so. Just curious. I get the feeling that the majority of board members are under 24 years of age and would not be familiar with this event or the upcoming (non-Disney) Starsky and Hutch movie.

Hey! I knew it was about the 1980 Olympic hockey team and I know about Starksy and Hutch, and i'm under 24.....

Anyways, this movie does look really good. Reviews for it are also suppose to be really good as well. I'll definitely see this one.

Miracle, Hidalgo, The Incredibles cry: a pixar film), and The Village (Touchstone, which is owned by Disney). I can't wait to see them all!

P.S. I'm 18 and know about the U.S.'s triumph over Russia!

Bear in mind, the US had to beat Finland for the Goild Medal. The game against RUssia was the first game of the medal round.


Even more so... why the heck hasnt Disney released the game on DVD? The righst are owned by ABCSports! I'd buy it!

Yes we came back to beat the Russians after a horrible battle in pre game olympics adn then kicked their Russian butts to go on to play for to the gold to beat Finland . O yeah i am 20 and I know the story being a big hockey fan and all . But yeah the moive was really good and i encourage people to see it.
