Minor Park/Attraction Changes You've Loved or Hated

I started thinking today of all the changes the parks and attractions have seen over the years. We all know most of the major changes from new lands and attraction to additions like Fastpass and even subtractions like the trees in the Hub, but what about all the tiny minor changes or the overlooked items that we take for granted or hardly notice. I've thinking paint changes or effect upgrades, changes in music or lighting. Maybe changes to how things are organized or procedures that have changed.

What are some of your favorite or least favorite minor/forgotten changes you've seen happen over the years?

Loved: Flat screen tv added to final scene of Carousel of Progress
Hated: Costume changes at American Adventure

Loved: New railing around Fountain of Nations at Epcot
Hated: Footlight Parade scene never has been fixed at Great Movie Ride

Loved: McDonald's french fry carts disappeared
Hated: ESPN The Weekend got canceled.

Loved: Gift shop exit to Buzz Lightyear added
Hated: Live spiels removed from Studio Backlot Tour

Loved: New soundtrack The Land pavilion received in 2005.
Hated: Phineas and Ferb backdrop location.

Loved: Removal of Innoventions entrance clutter
Hated: Letting beaches around Seven Sea Lagoon return to a natural state.

Loved: Wait times added to Magic Kingdom Ferry & Monorail signs.
Hated: LED/brighter black lights added in Rock n' Roller Coaster

Hate: Epcot Times Boards in the fountain courtyard are now boarded up with plywood and painted purple.
Love: Monorail promotional wraps.

Hate: Live spiels removed from Living With the Land.
Love: New Star Tours preshow video features antics by hapless pit droids in the background.

Love: the redo of the DHS entrance arch to the backlot area
Hate: the removal of the little peach coloured guard houses to the studio areas in DHS

Love: the new Splash indoor scene for the Railroad. (New = 1992 )
Hate: the mildly annoying thematic intrusiveness of Splash in Frontierland

Love: the Nemo ride is better than the 'fifty foot of pointlessness' of the orginal Seas ride
Hate: cartoon characters in The Living Seas

Love: sleek, EPCOT-y design of TT2.0's façade
Hate: the addition of the scaffolding by TT1.0, and how it was not removed for TT2.0

Love: The touchscreen, Judi Dench, and mild updates to Spaceship Earth in 07
Hate: The removal of all the set pieces at the end of the attraction when the video is playing (although I like the video, just not love it).

Love: The new look of TT 2.0, designing your own vehicle and the general premise
Hate: The execution. Took me a couple rides to figure out what was really going on. Not as exciting on-ride as TT 1.0

Love: Additions to the Pirates of the Caribbean, Jack, Barbossa and the mermaids!
Hate: Addition of Judi Dench (loved Jeremy Irons' voice) , touch screens and removal of all the "down the hill" things to see.

Hate: the POTC "overlay" with film characters and the "townspeople unite to help a pirate for no conceivable reason" storyline

Hate: the removal of the PotC barker parrot
Hate: the permanent movie overlay ('Where's Waldo Sparrow')
Hate: the crass, enormous PotC sail mast sign outside
Hate: the closing of the Caribbean Plaza fountains
Hate: the replacement of restaurant and shopping space by outdoor carts in Caribbean Plaza
Love: perfectly executed Potter

Absolutely hate the latest TTA spiel.

Love the play wait area for kids at Dumbo.
