Minor Detail - Construction walls are down adjacent to Dumbo

I was there 11/23 and the resurfacing next to Dumbo is complete. No photos since it was so crowded that day. :wave:

It is hard to keep track of all these construction walls everywhere.

Yea that wall has been down for about a week now. It has definitely helped out not having the wall up for last week for the busy Thanksgiving week.

I can imagine. It was a pain a few weeks ago and it was not all that busy. Hopefully someone can get a pic of the area to see what was done.

Yes. That's the area completed. It'll be easier for someone to get photos now that the Thanksgiving crowds are gone.

I wonder why they aren't completely redoing all the ground in Fantasyland. There are a bunch of areas where they removed planters and such and you have those leftover stones in the ground looking odd. You can even see it in the photo above.

They can't close it all up because of guest flow issues. So the stones that are left will most likely be removed after Dumbo is moved which will create a lot more room in the current Fantasyland.

Also as of last night, they just put up a few walls and scrims against the Carrousel right where the blue wall was located. Looks like they are doing some work on the Carrousel canopy.

There is an update over at Orlando Theme Park News showing the tarps and walls going up all around the Carousel. Looks like they are getting ready to do some work on the root.

TDO usually does an amazing job with how good the construction scrims look, but I have to say this one is hideous.

Yeah, not the greatest scrim, though considering the shape of the roof, I don't know what else they could really do apart from just making it a generic blue. :shrug: But hey, I'm not complaining.

They are getting ready to paint the canopy. It looks really faded and I believe they are changing the color to the new fantasyland colors too.
