Minor Changes to Attractions

It's been discussed before about what kinds of major changes might be made to any of the rides in WDW, but what sort of relatively minor ones would you feel would improve the rides?

One thing that comes to mind would be a suggestion of having the doom buggies of the Haunted Mansion move through a pitch black room, as it does so, suddenly at various times a flash of light would appear either over your car, on the side, or directly in front as if the "ghosts" were surrounding you. And perhaps some quick gusts of wind would come out of the back of the seat as they did this, to make the hairs on the back of your next stand up.

It's nothing like Alien Encounter. This would be one room that you're constantly moving through and wouldn't be strapped into a seat.

I've said it once, I'd just add a simple narration to the end of Maelstrom, or just have the narrator reread it so it actualyy sounds like the final line of the ride, right now, it leaves you hanging and you are surprised when you don't hear anything else.

I also think PotC could use an update like this, the ride seems to end rather abrubptly, but that might just be me.

Pirates of the Caribbean. I think RnR could use a little rehab at the end of the ride to make it feel like you are actually at the concert.

Oh, yeah.:o
I could see where the Treasure Room might benefit from some new effects and/or gags. The jail scene before it (with the dog and keys) is a hoot, though.

And a few years ago, when Walt introduced the attraction on his Sunday night program, he described a trip back up a waterfall as a capper. Something surreal about that, but of course they did implement it at Disneyland.

As for RnRC... they do have monitors of the concert, of course... and a red carpet. Maybe the gift shop could be given more props (curtains, light banks... maybe even a 'view' onstage) to make it seem more like a concert backstage. I dunno though, I'm usually so rattled when I get off that thing I don't worry so much about the themeing. Just give me air.:lookaroun

i think the store is supposed to be like the backstage area of the concert, but i def could see more to it, maybe the CMs handing out the picture numbers could be dressed like roadies or the store music could sound like a live show going on sumwhere , sounds fun , ill think of more ideas lol:lol:
