Minimum Availability Issue for Part-Time

Hi! So I have an interview for part-time Photopass, and I noticed that it says you must have a minimum availability of 3 days, and that two of those days must be Saturday & Sunday. Well, my issue is I work a full-time job which is Monday through Friday and I don't get off until 5:00pm. I have zero problem working evenings and then obviously I'm completely available all weekend and also every single holiday, being that I'm off from my full-time job on holidays.

I planned on going in and being honest with them about my availability and I really just wanted to emphasize how much I'm willing to work outside of my full-time schedule. I honestly don't care if I have to work every evening and every holiday... I would love it. I don't know if they're sticklers for that whole "minimum availability" rule for part timers. I guess I'm just wondering if I even stand a chance...

Help!

Question about this - I see on most (if not all) of their PT job listings that you need full availability for any shift, 7 days a week. I've always assumed this meant that it'd be really difficult to walk in there and tell them you have another job, even another PT job, because that means you aren't available 24/7 which appears to be what they are looking for. Has anyone else dealt with this? (And OP, please let us know how your interview goes. Good luck!)

It says they prefer full availability, but it's not a basic requirement. The basic requirement is 3 full days from what I understand.

Ooh - must have gotten myself confused. I haven't actually looked at the listings in a while and might have gotten that detail mixed up. Still, anyone with a full time job (such as yourself) might have difficulty. Anyone here work a FT job outside of Disney and then a PT job in the parks? (Or tried to interview for that?)

And again, DisneyPrincess, let us know how it goes. This directly applies to me. Thanks!

You must have 3 full days of availability of which two need to be on the weekend. Certainly if they can work you into a night shift during M-F I'm sure they'll try.

So I had the interview and yeah, the 3 FULL days availability is a must. Unfortunately that doesn't work with my schedule being that I do have a full-time job already. On the bright side though, I did get another interview for a position with the Disney Cruise Line. It's a part-time job and it didn't say anything specific in the description as far as what my availability had to be. So hopefully I can work something out with my current schedule. Wish me luck!
