Mini van parking charges

Hi, can anyone help me with a question around mini van parking in the parks?

If we have a 9 seater mini van what is the cost? Is it the same as cars?

We’re trying to plan a family trip and don’t know whether to get 2 SUV’s so 2 parking charges or whether to get a mini van to have just the one charge - I guess it depends what’s cheaper!

Funny you should say that we have a quote with a 9 seater mini van but we looked up on the rental site and we could only see a 7 seater so this answer is really helpful and means we can go back to the travel operator and tell them they are wrong!

If it’s a 7 seater do you know if that’s the same cost as a car in terms of parking charges?

And even then, the 12-seater van is still one parking charge. For the OP, the only extra charge parking fees I know of are if you're in an RV, a car pulling a trailer or a full tractor-trailer truck.

@Longers are you dead set against using Disney transportation? I'd much rather ride the bus for free than be crammed to full capacity in a van or otherwise pay for two rental cars and two parking fees.

It’s funny we’ve been many times but this will be our first with family so it’s something we never really looked at when at the parks or when hiring cars - also it will be our first stay off site as we are talking about a villa!

We are staying off site so we’re going to need the cars!

Is everyone going to want to come and go to/from parks at the same time each day? You may need the flexibility of multiple vehicles if you have people with different touring styles.

Hi

We’re going to try to stick together as my sister hasn’t had a holiday for 13 years - my older nephew who is 15 has only been abroad once but he was 2 and my other nephew who is 12 has never even been on a plane! So we are going to show them why we go every year and why we love America.

we’re hoping to get something to get everyone in but are also going to get a suv so we can split up some days if we ha e different people who want to go to different parks after we have all experienced them all at least once together - plus we need to get all the luggage from the airport to the villa.
