I've always enjoyed the creativity & detail of Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland mini-golf. Does anybody know if WDW has exhausted the mini-golf genre for its Fla property? You wouldn't want the place to turn into a Myrtle Beach/Pigeon Forge type of atmosphere, where every other block is holding yet another mini-golf course. It gets to become a cliche.
BUT, if there were to be a 3rd course, what would you think of these ideas for theming possibilities:
Wonderland Mini-Golf:
Alice in Wonderland theme. Obstacles could include giant mushrooms, tea pots, moving cards, a Queen of Hearts maze, etc. This film has more than enough detail to go overboard with an 18-hole course.
OR
Never-Never Land:
Peter Pan theme. The one problem I see with this one is that it can slide close to the familiar Pirates Cove theme that is seen in the nationwide mini-golf locations. You're obviously going to need a pirate ship for a Peter Pan themed course, but don't want to make it seem too familiar.
Or finally, you could combine the two such as in Winter Summerland. Have it be: Wonder Never Land (okay, the name could use some work). But have half as Wonderland, and the other half as Never Land.
Any thoughts? Do you see guests paying $$ for this like they do for FG and WSMRLand?
