I was just watching Toy Story on Blu-ray the other day, and I noticed that sometimes you can see through Buzz's wings! What?!? How has every single toy gotten this wrong?

I had a Buzz action figure when I was little and his wings definitely weren't see-through. Wow...

I was just watching Toy Story on Blu-ray the other day, and I noticed that sometimes you can see through Buzz's wings! What?!? How has every single toy gotten this wrong?
I wonder if they're translucent in the sequels?
I'm pretty sure the first picture is from the opening of TS2 when it's in-universe for the video game.
Edit: I grabbed a screen capture from this video from TS3 as well. There could be a weird motion blur thing going on there, but I think it's pretty definitive.

Great pick up, we have multiple buzz figures and none are see through
