I am trying to find out if the live Millionaire show taping (the real one, with Regis) that was set for October 1 at MGM has been postponed along with the other press events.
I have tickets that they sent me, which include Studios admission. They came today, and that confuses me. When I called the studio's guest relations office they said that as far as they knew, the taping was on but that the press events were cancelled. The Millionaire Web site has taken down references to the WDW taping, and Live with Regis and Kelly has been postponed. I don't understand why Regis would be coming down for the Millionaire show but cancelling his Live with Regis and Kelly show.
I do realize that this is miniscule in the scheme of things, in light of recent events. I also realize that Regis is a New Yorker who may not be interested in taking his show on the road right now, when broadcasting from New York says something now about defiance of terrorism.
For me, though, it DOES affect my vacation planning, as I had intended to bring my mother to the show, and we have free tickets (which Disney Studios said they would honor either way if the show were delayed).
I have until Monday to alter my reservations without penalty. If anyone knows the right answer on this, please advise ASAP...
