If yall could vote and see what yall think about it. I think the show will come back sometime later on and be a hit. I really enjoy going to Millionaire. It look like a real production set and makes you feel like you are in a studio. One person when I was there was asking if this was the actually set that they use for the show because it look so real but the real one is up in New York with Regis. What do yall think?

Why would you want to remove the attraction? It's fun and very interactive. I think it's one of the better things to do at MGM. Although the show is losing its popularity why can't the attraction stay?

I agree- it's so boring. Plus, no Fastest Finger, just people in the hot seat. I loved it with Regis, but I must admit it was getting old. (ABC killed it by putting it on too much, in my opinion.) I give it 6 months tops.

On the issue of whether or not the attraction should stay.... DEFINATELY!! I loved it, it was really fun, but really hard to get into the hot seat. Being a relatively new attraction, and having a duplicate in Disneyland, I don't think its going anywhere.

Also, sorry to get off topic, but at one point I had heard they were going to put Millionaire back on primetime (w/ Regis, I think) in 2 week series like when it first started. Anyone know if they still are or whether it is officially cancelled?

 IF it is getting so unpopular??? WHY was the line sooooooooo long. I enjoyed it! It was just like the real show., except for the host. I do not think the score pads worked to well though. I had all of the questions right, and did not even show up on the board. :(

Yep, I think it should stay-- Bring back Regis on the regular show once a week would be ok!!! They ruined it by overdosing on the times they had it on and with the celebrity shows. REAL PEOPLE please!! You know they gave them the answers for at least the first half of the ???'s :o

I believe it is a working studio-- didn't they broadcast from there a little while ago???

I don't think it was the score pads. You have to be incredibly fast to get into the hotseat. You almost have to press the button before the "D" answer comes up. No thinking time!:hammer:

I like Millionare. Although the actual show may be getting less popular, it is still a fun game. Still, because of the unpopularity of it now, they might not have it for long...

BUT, the idea of having a "game show" attraction is GREAT! Even if they do get rid of Millionare, they could replace it with another game show, mabey a more "classic" one, one that won't lose it's popularity.

Actually, Disney coudl just make up their own game show! Dont have it based on one single show, make it reflect the entire tv game show genre.

I see WWTBAM:PI staying for a year or more. Why? Well it is a very popular show. Most people would like to see what the game is like in a studio. Also, they have fastpass booths for it, so, when was the last time you saw a fastpass attraction leave so soon and be replaced?

I say keep it. I dont like the attraction but it is a great place to go and cool of during the summer. I did exactley that in july when i went.

It's always 3/4 packed when I go, I wish it was less crowded, so I could have a better chance.

I have Video Game thumbs, so I easily get in the top ten everytime, so I love playing along...

That theater holds what, 1,200 people? Of course it’s not going to be easy. I’ve played at least a dozen times and never even gotten onto to board till the last time I was there and ended up in the little seat half way through the game. Trust me, it’s not as great as you might imagine. I got teased about it by the people I was with for the rest of the day.. … On a side note, if you hang out on Mickey Ave. long enough at a time when the park isn’t busy, you stand a good chance of getting picked for the “phone a complete stranger” You don’t get pins or hats or shirts but you do get a nifty little button that says “I was a complete stranger at Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Play It!” In some ways I think it’s actually cooler than the other stuff because it looks so official and people who have never been will look at it and be totally clueless about the stranger thing! (Not that I’d have passed up the trip to NY if I’d gotten that far :lookaroun )

Plus, wasn’t it a big hit over in England before it came to the US? Wouldn’t that make it a good attraction for that reason as well?

Wasn't that The Weakest Link?

I love that show. Last time I was there my mother and I whent on it when the other members of my fam. whent on RRC. There need to be shows like that so MGM dosen't turn into one thrill ride after another.
