Million Dreams Pixie Dust Pins

Hey All,

I am very new to the pin collecting world, however I have been a collector of many different types of things through the years. I am wondering everyones thoughts on the Million Dreams Pixie Dust Pins that are being handed out at the parks.

The first few have hit ebay, and I am wondering about everyones thoughts on the outcome of these pins.

Here are a few different outcomes that as a collector come to mind.

1) In a few months these pins will become as available as the infamous "Kodak" pins.

2) There will not be as many handed out as most think, thus keeping them a popular collectable.

3) Disney will release different versions of the pin to keep the campain "fresh"

Just wondering everyone elses thoughts.

As far as I've been told, we're giving out tons of them, and they aren't changing design. While a cute idea, these will be everywhere and not worth a second glance within a few weeks to pin collectors

My son (5 1/2 ) told me that he wants me to pin trade this year with him because "It is a blast!" His words. He came home the other day from kindergarten and said that his teacher was talking to him about Disney World, and she told him about the Pixie Pins. He is excited to trade for one when we get down there is 40 days.

I think it is a great way to keep the kids busy in lines, and while walking around the parks. And the cast members have been AWESOME with it. It must hard sometimes to stop to pin trade when you have other work to do.

Someone has them listed for 19.99 each, and one other seller said they are going to list a 2 pin set for $20. It will be interesting to see what the outcome is.

I got mine at WDW about a week and a half ago. I love it! Mine will never show up on ebay.
