It's still pretty much intact, with only the sign being changed from Millenium Village to World ShowPlace. The "2OoO" icons are still up on the exterior. You can look through the closed gates and see it.

I am really surprised that the pavillion doesn't open for the food and wine festival.
I find it disappointing that this complex remains intact and primarily unused. Seems like opening for F&W or turning it into a Christmas village or a Worlds fair setting would seem like a reasonable plan.

Imagineers!!!! Tell us something will be done with this complex!!!

When I went to EPCOT two summers ago (2004), ASIMO was in the Millenium Village. It was a pretty cool show, I actually shot it on video.

But I agree, what a waste of a great space. They could put so much into the tent. Every few month could be a different exhibit.

Last week there was some sort of special event in EPCOT and the gate to the village was open, you could see all the way into it when walking by. the gate was guarded by CMs though

what exactly went on in the Millenium Village?

There were many different countries and world orginaztions with displays. I was showing some of the stuff I got from there the other day to some friends. I have my name written in Hebrew and Arabic. I also picked up the 2000 Epcot passport where it was signed by everyone who had a Disney badge. :D

The big thing I will always remember about that day was I was wearing a "Highlander" t-shirt. When I got to the Scotland exhibits, the CMs saw it and called over others at the exhibit then kept saying "There can be only one.". I was smiling and kept getting thumbs ups whenever I went by. I do miss the Village when I heard that the building is barely being used.
