Milk and grocery question

I know this probably sounds crazy, but we're staying at the jambo house in October and my 3 year old refuses to go to bed without a glass of milk a night.. Does anyone know where we can get some? Do they sell it at the resort or can it be delivered? I thought I heard about a grocery delivery service. Has anyone used it and is it expensive. Thanks so much for the help :) This will be our first time to disney and we are SOOOO EXCITED!!

Yes, milk is available, as are several other grocery items. Groceries are located towards the back of the rather large gift shop, located just off the main lobby.

If you are looking at ordering more than just milk - I recommend Garden Grocer. There is a $40 min order and a $14 delivery charge but we found their service to be very good. We ordered all sorts of breakfast food, snacks, bottled water, milk and fruit and it was delivered right to our resort. We just had to call bell services (it was delivered there since we weren't in the room) and it was brought right up.

On my recent trip I found it cheaper and more convienent than Garden Grocer to order an Amazon Prime Pantry box to the resort with snacks, cereal, water and poweraid then buy milk at the resort for cereal in the morning. I forget the exact price of the quarts of milk at the gift shop but they were cheaper than I was expecting.

My kids have cereal (which we bring from home) with milk every morning for breakfast in our hotel room. We're only going through a half-gallon or two in a week's trip, and it's the only grocery item we're buying onsite, so we just get it at the hotel gift shop despite the upcharge. All of the rooms have fridges, so you can keep it cold.

Not sure if you have a rental car, for the first time I'm going to try the order online and pickup in store at a local Super Target, hoping that would be somewhat convenient and save some time. Not all grocery items are available for the in store pick up so I'll still need to shop at the produce, dairy, beer and wine sections. Anyone try this before?

If you are driving I'd definitely make a stop nearby. The cost savings of not buying it from a grocery delivery service or on property are most likely going to be pretty significant. A half gallon of milk was $2.95 back in 2011, try searching for DVC Grocery List to see the prices for food available at DVC resort stores. For some reason I can never find the newer sheets when someone asks about prices. If a single half gallon of milk is all you will need, then the stop may not be worth it, but if might want/need more food then it will almost definitely be worth it.

If you are driving down then why in the world wouldn't you just stop by a market or convenience store when you arrive in the Orlando area?

We will get to disney before we can check in and we don't have room for a cooler in our car.. Would they hold onto the stuff that needs to be in the fridge for us somewhere at the resort ?
