Hey hi hello!

Im going to be in WDW staying at the AKL for like two weeks in Decemeber. Now its been years since Ive wandered offsite there, but with all this extra time I have down there I want to check out some stuff that I have always wanted to do. but never had a chance.

Namely I want to go to Midevil Times. So like I have two questions.

A) Is this actually worth going to? Anyone whos been, or seen or heard anything aobut it? Feedback would be very appreciated.

b) Umm so like Im in the AKL...and I wont have a car. What is the most feasible way to get there? I was actually thinking of making a day trip out of the park to hit gatorland, and then midevil times, and then Pirates Cove mini golf. Im assuming the only way to do all this would be by a cab....but Im always apprehensive of taking cabs in strange places where its obvious Im a tourist.

So yeah...Umm how to get around for a not-to-bad price and without having to worry about being driven into the everglades and killed. :p

Thanks in advance!

I went to Medieval Times several years ago and would not recommend it. The food reminded me of the quality that came out of my elementary school cafeteria, and the show was OK. Since I went, they have changed the show, so someone else who has been there more recently can probably tell you if there has been any improvement. In my opinion, there are much better dinner shows in Orlando, such as the Pirates Dinner Adventure.

If you're worried about taking taxis, I believe you can rent a car from Alamo and pick it up at the car care center on property. I have read that there is a shuttle that will pick you up at your resort and take you to the car care center to make the rental.

Enjoy Gatorland!

Pirates Dinner Adventure??? What is this you speak of?

Sounds interesting!

I have been to both Dinners and I would recommend both of them. Love them both. :sohappy: If you like singing then Pirates is better. The jousting and horses is good at Medieval Times. We have been to Medieval Times in Cali., Fla., and TX.

I've been to Midevil times twice and throughly enjoyed it. You really have to be into the whole era though because the show might get a little boring. The armored Knights are cool looking and they compete against each other and you cheer get to cheer for your designated knight. But the contests are not all bashing each other. So like I said, to some they can get dull.

The food is served like in the middle ages with no utensils you have to eat with your hands. This includes the soup and the chicken. It was fun, but there are others you can enjoy if you are not into Knights and kings.

Capone's is always fun. Fun dinner and show with fun songs etc and even the waiters are in character!

I went to Midevil times a few years ago. I thought it was great. The food is decent and fun because you eat with your hands. The overall show was really entertaining and the kids love it.
