Mickey's voice-"Cinderella's Holiday Wish"

Did anyone else notice Mickey's voice in the new stage show "Cinderella's Holiday Wish"? It doesn't sound like the normal Mickey voice talent Wayne Allwine, like they had someone else do his voice this time. Is it just me? I'm I going crazy? Would like to know if someone else noticed this too.

It sounded fine to me. Maybe they're training someone else?

But, like I said, sounded the same.

if it was somebody else you woudl know. they are very stricked about voices right now when it comes to the vip's thats not to say wayne isn't training somebody else, after all he learned from his predasesor. and he is getting up there.

I didn't notice any difference this evening. Then again, I didn't really pay attention to the show that closely anyway.

I've been listening it on Youtube and I still think it sounds different. Can't put my finger on what's different. Who knows? If it was Wayne maybe he had a cold! :lol:

I also thought Mickey's voice sounded a little different, perhaps a little lower/deeper in certain parts. Not quite as "squeaky." Not different enough to suggest a new voice actor, though. And then in other parts, it sounded just like the Mickey we're familiar with.

The actor might have had a cold, like you suggested.

While I apologize for bringing up a three year old post but I recently rewatched this show on Martin's vids and did notice that the voice of Mickey is actually the new voice Bret Iwan..

Since that there really isn't too much of his voice being used quiet yet since Wayne's is used alot it's interesting to see that they had someone already for Mickey 3 years prior..

Yes it is..I mention his name in my recent post above plus on the disney parks blog they have a voicemail recording of Bret for the I'M CELEBRATING voicemail...You can definatley hear a difference from the Birthday and Anniversay recordings of Wayne Alwine to Bret Iwan.
