Normally, no. Past procedure has been to issue wristbands starting sometime around 4 pm, and then they start encouraging day guests to leave before 6 pm. Your wristband is your key to remaining in the park as it transitions from from day guests to hard-ticket event.

If you are already in MK for the day and do not have a Christmas party ticket, yes you will have to leave. But if you have both an MK ticket and a Christmas party ticket you will not have to leave. Before the party starts CMs will be out and about handing out wristbands to those who have a Christmas party ticket. Once you have this you can stay while the rest of the non wristbanders will be ushered out of the park.

Get your wristband as early as you can. If you are already in the park there are several spots that open up in MK to get banded. If you wait you can encounter a line from other guests arriving at the locations. It doesnt take long for CM's to check tickets and apply your band to your wrist.

Although I prefer MNSSHP over MVMCP, Christmas time at Disney is my most favorite time to visit with all the holiday decorations and holiday spirit flowing all over Disney. Youll have a big dose of Disney magic all around you. :joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:
