I was wondering if the 2005 dates were announced yet? On WDW's website you can buy tickets and there are dates listed but, I'm not sure if they are this years or last years. Perhaps the page wasn't updated. Anyways, thanks for the info.

Don't worry, we are getting there on the 22nd. 
And this was one thing we had heard great reviews of, we were really looking forward to but. We'll get it one day!

Last year we were going to arrive the day after the last party, so I took my daughter out of school for one day before her Christmas break so that we could go to MVMCP. Ahhh...the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! This year will be the second I've attended. First one was in 2003 and it was such a magical experience. I will never forget walking around the Magic Kingdom, with all the hot chocolate and sugar cookies I could possibly eat. Everywhere I looked, the Magic Kingdom was filled with fabulous Christmas decorations, especially down Main Street. The feeling of walking down Main Street USA, Christmas music playing in the background, everyone around you smiling from ear to ear.....and all the while it's "SNOWING"!! Sometimes it was snowing SO much, you could barely make out the castle from the far end of Main Street!
So, as you can tell, I can't wait to return! I will be there for the party on December 9th.

I have never attended the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party before. On my vacation, I will be arriving on a Saturday and leaving the following Saturday. I would like to attend at least one of the MVMCP nights. What day of the week is the best night (or least crowded) to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday)?
