Have no idea when it will be opening but I'm psyched to see it. Sounds like it will be a great addition to Fantasyland. I never really cared much for the Legend of the Lion King.

Im glad they got rid of legend of the lion king attraction in fantasyland because if youve seen the brillaint show at AK, the animotronics just dont cut it!! im really hoping PHillarmagic turns out good, i think with a little imagination it could turn out really good!

I know its stupid - but the Lion King show in MK made me really choaked - just thought it was well done - totally different to AK but in a more true to the film way - but both were excellent

and darn it - gonna miss the new show then - Oh well - another excuse to visit in a few years time :)

I can't wait for PhilharMagic to open. Looking back over the years, I'm amazed at how far Disney has come with their 3D movies. I can barely remember Magic Journeys, but I loved Captain Eo. And after that... they kept wowing me! It was genius to start incorporating real things with the 3D effects. So I'm sure that this next movie will really be something great!

It's gone for good, but they still have "Festival of the Lion King" at Camp Minnie-Mickey at Disney's Animal Kingdom. It's rated as the #1 stage show on property!

That just stinks. I really liked that show. Why couldn't they just move it over to The Land @ EPCOT and replace that tired, PC Lion King conservation movie ?:snore:

I wish on the ebay part. I'd love to have one of those puppets... anyway. I can't wait for Philarmagic to open. It's got an interesting cast. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and Simba. Most likely Pete, Jafar and Scar also.

Because The Land is not supposed to be about "The Lion King." It would be totally out of place. Plus it would be a waste of money cause The Land already has Food Rocks, Living with the Land, The Garden Grille, and their huge Food Court.

I realy did love the Lion King, but as soon as I heard that Mickey would be the focus of its replacement, I got over my grief really quick. Philharmagic sounds like it's going to be really impressive & very entertaining, to say the least. I'm actually quite excited. Not to mention, with the Lion King show at AK, this isn't too big of a loss, IMHO. Bring on the Mickey.
