Well, I can't help but think that they need to bring the Mickey's PhilharMagic 3D show to all of the Disney parks. Of course, that show does exist at WDW and Hong Kong Disneyland and will be coming to Tokyo Disneyland in the near future. So I feel they should go ahead and add this show to the other two parks, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.

As for where to put it, for Disneyland, I think it could very well go over where that Fantasyland Theater once stood (which has since been converted into that rather weak-looking princess deal). It would go right across the way from the entrance to Toontown.

But the only thing about Disneyland Paris I know about is that it would be translated into Le PhilharMagique de Mickey. I don't know that park all that well, so maybe someone can help me with where to put the show there. Can anyone help?

We Could Move PhilharMagic to DCA where the Muppets Used to be.

I know I put the film into my recent dream resort thread (I'll be removing it in the final draft), but I feel as if the film is a bit outdated already the more that I think about it. The problem with 3D/4D attractions nowadays is that they don't garner as much attention as they used to when 3D was a bit of a rarity. Case in point, DCA. DCA opened with two 4D shows and now, both of them are essentially gone. Muppets aren't slated for a return date and It's Tough to be a Bug is rarely available, the theater mostly being used for previews, 3D or otherwise. Likewise, Captain EO has since been replaced with a Star Wars film that isn't even presented in 3D. True, Muppets, Bugs, and Philhar all remain in Florida, but for how much longer? One can only keep a film playing for so long. 3D is a dying gimmick, I'm afraid. The 90s have passed. In the present times, almost every movie released has a 3D release to go with it, so seeing something you can either see at the movie theatre, on the telly, or on YouTube for free seems kind of redundant to me.

That being said, the concept of PhilharMagic is excellent. Donald Duck is perhaps one of the more underrated of the Fab Five and deserves more time in the spotlight. As crazy of an idea as this may be, why not create a Carousel of Progress or America Sings-type show where an AA Donald goes on a series of misadventures through the worlds of Disney films in a big, immersive theater. I feel as if even though AA shows are in the same boat as 3D films... Revitalizing the concept would be more successful than revitalizing 4D.
