Would two senior women (65 & 70) enjoy MNSSHP or is this mainly for families with children?

I have been to Disney numerous times but never in the fall and my SIL has never been. Just wondering if this would be worth our while.

If you like Disney and Halloween then why not. Myself and DW are doing our first one this year and we don't have children.

Every time I have attended MNSSHP, there has been people of all ages. In fact, there are no kids in my family and we have an awesome time going and always look forward to the next one! The same magic you find in the parks during normal hours can be found at MNSSHP. The party has, in my opinion, the best Disney parade, shows, and fireworks. It's also one of the few times Guests are allowed to dress up in the parks. And oh yeah, free candy!!

It's for anyone! It's not just about the trick-or-treating (which adults can most certainly do!) It's about seeing MK in a whole new way, and experiencing a Disney fireworks and parade that you would not be able to see any other way. You can make the experience into whatever you want it to be.

Of course you should go... youll love it. The event parade, show and fireworks are absolutely fabulous. :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop: I believe its much better than MVMCP. If you havent been to WDW in the season, youll enjoy the well decorated park... the specially carved pumpkins are amazing, situated all around the shops and building roof lines and windows. You dont necessarily need a costume, lots of adults dont wear them, but I do. Be sure to get a good viewing spot early to watch the parade and headless horseman ride. Ive found a great spot at the beginning of the route by Pecos Bills. It also is one of the best parades with characters youll very rarely see at any other time of year.
Depending on the time and length of your trip... you may get to see some Christmas decorations too.

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Me and DH (36 and 40) go to the parties and we don't have children and thoroughly enjoy them! Feel free to trick or treat too no costume (we don't usually wear a costume just a Disney Halloween tee and me some Halloween Minnie ears etc) or children required! Lol. Parade and special fireworks are awesome. Most rides are almost walk ons etc etc. Love MNSSHP and MVMCP!! ;)

This thread has given me some great info. My family is going to the party and my 65 year old mother will be going with us. She wasn't sure what to wear for a costume, but it sounds like wearing Disney related Halloween stuff, works just fine.

It would be what you make of it.

Absolutely go. We've been several times and love it. We don't dress up, usually just a Halloween tee. Have come away from the party with a LOT of candy! The fireworks are amazing!
